The Ekso GTTM, created by US-based Ekso Bionics, is the first FDA-approved exoskeleton for stroke victims, and is also used for helping victims of spinal cord injuries heal better.
And it does this, by talking to therapists, doctors, and technicians.
Using IoT-enabled SIMs, the Ekso GTTM sends diagnostics and patient data to the concerned personnel, helping improve the user experience with the suit, and helping provide data that helps patient recover faster.
Taking advantage of Vodafone's international presence, Ekso Bionic has been able to simplify its manufacturing process by using the same
Vodafone SIM for all its suits globally.
"We chose Vodafone to provide a single global solution that ensures seamless connectivity, no matter where a rehabilitation hospital is located," said Thomas Looby, Ekso Bionics' chief executive officer.
The Ekso GTTM is now used in more than 150 leading rehabilitation institutions around the world.
