| In July 2008, Mumbai saw Lewis Hamilton entertain his fans with his sharp
turns on a karting circuit. On his second visit to India on 1 August 2009, Lewis enthralled fans in
New Delhi again, only this time with a cricket

Cricket with Lewis:
At the Metro Walk Mini Cricket Stadium, New Delhi, Lewis was welcomed by over 1000 Vodafone customers & employees to watch him play cricket. Lewis teamed up with the Vodafone staff cricket team to play against a team of Delhi players in a friendly match after which 3 winners of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes contest got their chance of a lifetime to bowl over the F1 Drivers� World Champion. He also posed with them for pictures and rewarded them with VMM caps and autographed cricket bats. |

Press meet:
A media conference with over 200 media professionals including TV news channels like Times Now, NDTV, CNN IBN, Reuters, Headlines Today along with Times of India & Hindustan Times interviewed Lewis Hamilton after the match. ESPN conducted a special interview with the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes racing star.

Dinner with VIPs: Lewis also engaged with VIPs and Vodafone business
customers at the HNI dinner at the Taj Mahal Hotel. Harsha Bhogle, along with
the racing star, engaged the audience in an auction of Lewis´ autographed
memorabilia, the proceedings of which were given for charity. The racing
wizard posed for pics and signed autographs for 3 lucky guests at the
dinner.
