Now you can book your railway tickets from your mobile phone by simply logging on to Vodafone live! Just go to the application section from the menu and download the application to choose the required ticket details and IRCTC will deliver them to you. Plus you get great after sales service by IRCTC.
Bookings
- Step 1: Log on to Vodafone live!
- Step 2: Register by filling in the required details like name, age, address, etc. You will receive a password, which you can use to log on every time you book your tickets on Vodafone live!
- Step 3: Choose your source and destination stations, number of passengers, class and date of travel and train number.
- Step4: After you accept one of the combinations provided, the total fare will be displayed. Confirm and proceed with payment.
- Step 5: Give us your credit card details for payment.
- Step 6: Tell us your address and your tickets will be delivered.
Payments
You can pay for your tickets using VISA / MasterCard credit cards. Give us your credit card number, date of expiry and the 3-digit security code. When your transaction is successful, just sign off.
Charges
- Transaction fee: Rs20 / transaction, irrespective of number of tickets booked. This is charged only when you complete a booking transaction.
- For eg: sms IRAVB 1025 04 07 to 56789
- Credit Card Commission: 1.8% of total ticket amount (Commission for using Credit Card)

Note:
- You cannot cancel your tickets through your Vodafone mobile phone
- You can book the tickets for any day falling between the 3rd and the 30th day from the date of booking

- You can also use any senior citizen discounts you are eligible for.
- You cannot book any ticket under any special fare or concession.
- IRCTC will provide post-sales customer service by phone and email.
Note: All VAS service rental charges do not fall under proportionate billing. Full rentals will be charged irrespective of date of activation.
