Installing Videotones

Step 1: Go to Vodafone live!

Step 2: Click on Videotones

Step 3: Click on application download

Step 4: Accept the prompt to install

Once installation is complete, the application icon will appear on your menu

A default Videotone comes along with the application, so you can try it right away!

Once downloaded on to your handset, the Videotones application runs in the background, and is enabled every time you get a call. Just like a ringtone.

Using Videotones

  • Step 1: Launch the application and browse through different Videotones by pressing the back or forward button. The Videotone name will be displayed on top and the current Videotone will be displayed at the bottom of the screen with a tick mark.
  • Step 2: Click on the Options menu to access the following functions.
MuteTo only play the video, without sound, when you get a call
PlayTo preview the Videotone
SelectTo set the Videotone as the default one, so whenever you get a call, this Videotone will play
DeleteTo delete the selected Videotone
Download moreTo download more Videotone onto your phone
Close VideotoneTo close the Videotone application (your default ringtone will be selected)
AboutTo view a brief description of the Videotone application

Downloading more Videotones

Step 1: Click on the Videotone icon

Step 2: Select Options > Download More to connect to Vodafone live! Videotones page

Step 3: Click on Videotone > content download

Step 4: Select the Videotone and it will be automatically installed in your gallery

  • The Videotone application is free of cost, but the Vodafone live! usage charge of 10p / 10 KB applies while the download is in progress.

Prepaid Customers:
  • Services to your mobile number would be discontinued if there is no usage i.e., no Voice Calls (incoming or outgoing), SMS & Data for any continuous period of 60 days. No refund would be given for any unused talk time balance and validity of the card. Number will be unusable post disconnection.
  • Customer with lifetime validity needs to do mandatorily recharge with Rs.200 cumulative in 180 days to avoid disconnection.
Postpaid Customers:
  • Services to your mobile number would be discontinued if there is no usage i.e., no Voice Calls (incoming or outgoing), SMS & Data for 1st 2 bill cycles post activation date.
