1. What is Vodafone M-Shop?
Vodafone M-Shop is a service that allows you pay any Vodafone Postpaid Bill and recharge any Vodafone Prepaid Mobile using your credit card on a secured Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS)
2. What are the services offered on Vodafone M-Shop?
Currently there are two services offered:
1 Postpaid bill payment for self or another Vodafone mobile number
2 Prepaid Recharge for self or another Vodafone mobile number
3. What new services will be offered on Vodafone M-Shop?
There are host of exiciting services that Vodafone plans to offer to its customers in the near future. Please watch out for this space for new and exiciting updates.
4. What are the modes of payment?
Postpaid bill payment: Any VISA/Master Credit Card.
Prepaid Recharge: Any VISA/Master Credit Card only.
5. Can I pay by AMEX credit card?
No.
6. Can I pay using my Debit Card or Bank account?
The facility to pay for your transactions using a debit card or bank account is not available currently. However, we will be able to offer this service to you soon in the coming days.
7. Is Vodafone M-Shop safe and secure for transactions?
Vodafone M-Shop adheres to the highest security standards (128 BIT encryption on a Secured Socket Layer) available globally for financial transactions. Your financial information is completely protected from misuse and hence, it is very secure.
8. Is there a maximum number of transactions that can be done in a month?
For the services mentioned below, the maximum no of transactions possible per month have been mentioned below.

9. Will I get the same benefit on recharge when I do it through Vodafone M-Shop as I get when done through ETOP up or paper recharge?
Yes.
10. Will I be charged anything for using Vodafone M-Shop services?
As an introductory we are offering this service absolutely free.
11. Which other operators offer this service?
Vodafone is the only operator in the country to offer such a service on the IVR.
12. How will I know that my transaction is successful & my account is recharged / bill payment is done?
As soon as your transaction is completed you will get an SMS confirming if your transaction is successful or declined.
13. How much time will it take for my recharge to take place or bill payment to reflect on your system?
Prepaid recharge transactions will add to your recharge value within 1 hour.
Postpaid bill payment transactions will reflect in your account within 4 hours.
14. Whom should I contact if my recharge / bill pay does not take place?
In case your transaction is not successful due to decline or expiry of your credit card you should contact your card service provider. In case there are any other issues you can contact our customer care on 111
15. What happens in case I enter a wrong mobile number for recharge or bill payment?
In case you enter a wrong mobile number while doing your transaction kindly contact our customer care on 111 immediately so that we can take down the details and initiate a corrective course of action. However, please note that in case of prepaid recharge transactions, amount reversal can be considered only if the amount is unused in your prepaid account.
16. Can I use this service while roaming nationally & internationally?
Currently you can only use Vodafone M-Shop while roaming nationally in India.
17. Can I use this service while calling from a landline? What is the no. to be dialed?
The service is restricted to Vodafone users only. Hence, you can use this service by dialing from any Vodafone number but not from a landline or any other service provider’s mobile number.
18. Which are the different languages Vodafone M-Shop will support?
Currently the Interactive Voice Response System is available only in English for VODAFONE M-Shop. However, we will soon have this service in other languages as well.
19. What is the difference between the current Pay Bill by IVR option & Vodafone M-Shop?
In the current Pay bill by IVR option available on 111 you can only pay your own Vodafone mobile bills. However on Vodafone M-Shop you can not only pay your own bill but even your family’s or friends mobile bills. Moreover you can even recharge your own or your family’s or friends prepaid cards.
20. Why is Vodafone M-Shop not available on 111 but on a new number 53333?
Vodafone wishes to offer a host of other exciting services in the coming days on Vodafone M-Shop. Hence, in order to create the differentiation, Vodafone has decided to offer this service on 53333.
21. If I pay for another Number, then where will the transaction feature? Will it show in both accounts?
The transaction will only feature in the account for which your have made the bill payment or recharged
22. The Confirmation SMS hits which number? The customer who is paying or the account for which it has been paid?
On successful completion of the payment a confirmation SMS will be sent to the customer who is making the payment. In addition the customer who has received the recharge or whose bill has been paid will receive an SMS from Vodafone confirming the same
23. If a customer is barred, can he still dial the Vodafone M-Shop IVR?
Yes
24. Currently 111 IVR has no limit to amount paid by credit card and transactions. Any reason why u want to limit the Vodafone M-Shop IVR option.
