Call Waiting

Find out if someone’s calling you, even while you’re busy on another call. Plus receive and hold the incoming call as you talk to another person. It’s all possible with Vodafone’s Call Waiting.

Activate

This service comes pre-activated on your Vodafone mobile phone. To activate this service just go to your phone menu and activate Call Waiting. Please check your handset manual for details.

How do I use Call Waiting?

  • To start enter *43#
  • To stop enter #43#
  • To reject the waiting call enter 0
  • To put your current call on hold enter 2
  • To switch between calls enter 2
  • To end your current call and take the call on hold enter 1

Note: This service is currently not available in UP ( W )

Charges

Call Waiting comes free of cost. But you´ll have to pay for answering the held call at applicable call tariffs (you don´t have to pay for calls that you do not answer).

Prepaid Customers:
  • Services to your mobile number would be discontinued if there is no usage i.e., no Voice Calls (incoming or outgoing), SMS & Data for any continuous period of 60 days. No refund would be given for any unused talk time balance and validity of the card. Number will be unusable post disconnection.
  • Customer with lifetime validity needs to do mandatorily recharge with Rs.200 cumulative in 180 days to avoid disconnection.
Postpaid Customers:
  • Services to your mobile number would be discontinued if there is no usage i.e., no Voice Calls (incoming or outgoing), SMS & Data for 1st 2 bill cycles post activation date.
