Can I access Vodafone live! while roaming?

Yes, you can access Vodafone live! while roaming in Vodafone network.

How do I get the settings for this service?

New customers will automatically get the settings named Vodafone live! and Vodafone MMS when you put in your Vodafone SIM card into your mobile phone. Just save these settings. In case your phone does not already have Vodafone live! setting, please perform the following steps:

Step 1:

Find out your handset IMEI number, by pressing *#06# on the phone’s standby screen or by checking the same from phone’s body panel under the battery bay.

Step 2:

IMEI number may be of 15 or 16 digits - identify the first 15digits for use in step 3

Step 3:

Send an sms to 52586 with text as S1st 15 digits of the IMEI number

Step 4:

Please save the setting you receive.

For example, if you are using a mobile phone with IMEI as 3584566875971287 which is a 16 digit IMEI, you need to send S 358456687597128 to 52586.

Do I need to have an advanced handset for using Vodafone live!

Yes, your handset needs to be GPRS compatible.


Vodafone Live and Vodafone Mobile Connect services are core services which will be active in your account by default. The usage charges for the service will be 10p/10KB if not subscribed to any promotional offer



Prepaid Customers:
  • Services to your mobile number would be discontinued if there is no usage i.e., no Voice Calls (incoming or outgoing), SMS & Data for any continuous period of 60 days. No refund would be given for any unused talk time balance and validity of the card. Number will be unusable post disconnection.
  • Customer with lifetime validity needs to do mandatorily recharge with Rs.200 cumulative in 180 days to avoid disconnection.
Postpaid Customers:
  • Services to your mobile number would be discontinued if there is no usage i.e., no Voice Calls (incoming or outgoing), SMS & Data for 1st 2 bill cycles post activation date.
