Activate National Roaming

Roaming across India should already be available on your Vodafone mobile phone. This will enable you to roam on all Vodafone networks across India.


To roam on all other networks in non Vodafone Circles, please activate National Roaming by any one of these methods:

  • sms ACT NR to 111 (toll free) from your Vodafone mobile phone
  • Dial 111 (toll free) from your Vodafone mobile phone and follow the instructions. An sms will be sent to you to confirm the service activation.
  • Log on to My Vodafone and subscribe online

A standard roaming deposit of Rs1500 is charged. However, based on the discretion of Vodafone credit services, additional deposits may be payable.

  • Services to your mobile number would be discontinued if there is no usage i.e., no Voice Calls (incoming or outgoing), SMS & Data for any continuous period of 60 days. No refund would be given for any unused talk time balance and validity of the card. Number will be unusable post disconnection.
  • Customer with lifetime validity needs to do mandatorily recharge with Rs.200 cumulative in 180 days to avoid disconnection.
Postpaid Customers:
  • Services to your mobile number would be discontinued if there is no usage i.e., no Voice Calls (incoming or outgoing), SMS & Data for 1st 2 bill cycles post activation date.
