Handy tips Back
  • Avoid unnecessary calls while roaming. Let your callers know that you are abroad, with Roaming Callertunes click here.
  • Remember your number
    You'll be Roaming the world on a single number, so your callers don´t need to keep track of ever-changing numbers or codes to keep in touch with you
  • Pay in Indian rupees
    No matter where you travel, and where you use your phone, you'll get one consolidated bill – with all Roaming expenses included in Indian rupees. Saving you precious foreign exchange
  • If you are an iPhone or iPad user, then the APN settings need to be manually changed.
    For you to be able to use the iPhone or iPad device while roaming Nationally or Internationally, you would need to manually change the APN settings in your device to “IPHONE” instead of “WWW”. The path to change the settings manually is as follows.
    Settings --> APN --> IPHONE
  • Is using the Wi-Fi feature while roaming internationally free? No, most devices have a Wi-Fi feature which can be switched ON .If mobile data is also switched ON in the back ground and if Wi-Fi signals are weak, internet connects via mobile data. In this case then data charges as per roaming rates will apply
  • Remember to enter phone numbers according to the dialing pattern of the country or city you are in. To make things easier, store numbers in the international format. Eg: + 44 97 5632 3333 (+ followed by the country code, area code and the phone number)
  • Make sure your handset will work in the country you're traveling to
  • If you’re going abroad, activate International Roaming on your phone

  • Call forward facility

    This facility is not always active because it depends heavily on the network you visit
    When it is active, you are charged separately for the incoming call and for diverting it
