4G User Guide

Welcome to Vodafone 4G! To start using 4G services, you need to meet the following requirements:

  • 4G Network

    Need to belong to the 4G network

  • 4G Device

    Need a compatible 4G

  • 4G Sim

    Need a valid 4G compatible SIM

4G SIM Activation

To enable 4G service, you would need to upgrade to 4G SIM and follow the activation process post purchasing the 4G sim from your nearest store or our website. Use your current active SIM to complete the activation process.

  • generate internet pack

    <20digit SIM number> to 55199

  • generate internet pack

    SMS last 6 digits
    to 55199 when prompted

If the last 6 digits entered match the first string of 20 digits, your new SIM will be activated in 20 minutes.

Post successful SIMEX, follow these simple steps to activate 4G on your smartphone. If you are a prepaid customer , make sure you have sufficient talktime balance on your phone.

    Go to Network mode and select LTE/4G

    Check for coverage by looking for 'LTE' or '4G' on the signal bar
